About Me

I have been studying Egyptian belly dance for over 10 years. What started as a class credit at a local Community College soon developed into a passion of mine. I studied under Katrina Valenzuala (Khadija) during this time and gained the knowledge and experience required to teach and spread the love of the dance.

One of the main reasons I was so drawn to this art form is the inclusive and inviting environment that it promotes. I believe that any woman can successfully practice this style despite any preconceived notions regarding age, weight or endurance capabilities.

Belly dance has many benefits including increased balance, stability, strength, body posture and even digestion. The style is very low impact and is not as rigid as other dance styles.

Belly dance is very forgiving and the techniques and choreography I teach can be adjusted to each and every person. I love teaching this unique style and find joy in helping other women embrace their feminine beauty and confidence through dance!
